Our Purpose

Australia is in a recycling crisis, one that witnesses Australians generating 76 million tonnes of waste with only 70% being recycled.

2.5 million tonnes of that is plastics. Of which, only 9% went to recycling leaving the rest going to landfill. Australians discard around 56 million tyres a year, 48% is not being recycled.

By utilizing otherwise problematic waste products to create a valuable resource, Plastics & Tyre Recycling Pty Ltd together with Zero Emissions Developments’ proprietary pyrolysis technology is working to solve the waste crises whilst boosting the national economy.
